The Old Hall Ely

The Old Hall Ely is a privately owned country house wedding venue, located one mile from Ely, set in beautiful countryside overlooking three ornamental lakes with spectacular views of Ely Cathedral.

A recently renovated Jacobean manor house, set in its own unique and historic estate of 2000 acres in the heart of Cambridgeshire. The house has spectacular views across farmland to Ely Cathedral, formal gardens and ornamental lakes.

The Old Hall Ely is renowned for its welcoming atmosphere, we pride ourselves on being flexible, creative and personal. You and your guests will be able to enjoy the exclusive use of our beautiful house and grounds and is one mile from Ely railway station which has excellent links to London and the rest of East Anglia.

We hold Civil Ceremonies where you can marry in our stunning oak Garden Pavilion, within the picturesque setting of the Lower Garden or in our Grand Hall by a roaring fire.

The wedding breakfast takes place in the most up to date traditional marquee, which epitomises the essence of an English Country House wedding. Lined in mid-ivory, with pea lights in the ceiling, two sides of the marquee are also completely glass, all of which can be opened, offers the most stunning views of the lakes and Ely Cathedral.
