About Welsh Green Weddings
Wedding Receptions in the Tipi
The Giant Tipi is at the top of a wild flower meadow with fantastic views over the valley and the sunsets to the west. It can seat up to 144 people for your wedding reception. The sides of the Tipi can be hinged up when the weather or the wind allows so that the view can be seen from inside the Tipi. We have fairy lights, led spot lighting and the PA system ready set up in the Tipi along with the bar and the wash up yurt beside.
Wedding Ceremony in the Walled Garden
The walled garden has the beautiful hexagonal green oak pagoda, bridging the walled garden and the walkway with the view to the valley. The pagoda is licenced for weddings weather permitting. The structure is made with Oak from Coed-y-Bryn forest 4 miles away with logs pulled out by Bonnie our Shire horse, the flooring and steps are from Beech from a tree that fell on the farm and the slates are second hand local welsh slates. We also have 12 old pitch pine church benches that we use in the garden for the ceremony, if you need more seating we can use straw bales.
Old Dairy Wedding Ceremony
The old Dairy can be used for wedding ceremonies instead of outside weddings in the walled garden or as a backup in case the weather is inclement. The Old Dairy can seat up to 72 people using the thinner chairs that are often covered with the white or ivory chair covers. It makes a lovely intimate space.
