About Fernie Castle Hotel
The ancient Castle of Fernie was first recorded in 1353 when it belonged to the Earl of Fife-Duncan the 13th. The Fernie family held the lands as early as the 15th century and the present building is some 450 years old.
All 20 bedrooms are individually designed, are en-suite and equipped to the very highest standards with TV, telephone, hair dryer and trouser press.
You can relax and dine in the informality of the stone vaulted Keep Bar which dates back to 1530 and is a feature of the castle. You can also dine more formally in the elegant Auld Alliance Room.
