Newclose boasts acres of beautiful unspoilt countryside on the outskirts of Newport and offers a backdrop to your special day like no other. With the ability to create weddings that suit all tastes from a grand summer wedding in The Marquee to a very intimate wedding in The Pavilion. The Marquee is perfect for a large wedding and is available to hire from April to September and can seats up to 300 people comfortably. For a more intimate wedding, The Pavilion can be hired all year round and can seats 80 people.

Our goal is to ensure your day is beautiful, unforgettable, and completely stress-free. From dawn to dusk you’ll be in the safest of hands. We’ll be on hand to keep things running smoothly so you can focus on what’s most important. We have a license to hold marriages and civil ceremonies. We can comfortably seat up to 50 guests to your ceremony.

Transport can be arranged from and to the hotel giving your guests the opportunity to soak in the picturesque views the island has to offer.

Our catering team, based at the Seaview Hotel will help you create the perfect wedding menu featuring an array of foods from local suppliers with a style based on Modern British cuisine with a regional Isle of Wight twist.
