Llanhilleth Miners Institute

Llanhilleth Miners Institute is not only unique but authentically Welsh; an historical landmark within the former mining village of Llanhilleth.  Officially opened on Wednesday 12^th September 1906 amidst great celebration, the Institute was built to meet the educational, recreational and health needs of the local miners and their families.  It has remained at the heart of the local community over generations and provides a vibrant link with the industrial past of the Ebbw Fach Valley.
