The Hundred House Hotel is a family run business and has been in the Phillips family for 28 years. Its restaurant has held 2 rosettes for the last 17 years making the Hotel a firm favourite within the area. We absolutely pride ourselves on our warm hospitality, attention to detail and friendly yet professional service. We offer a tailor made service to your individual requirements and a dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator to guide you through and make the whole event as stress free as possible for you.
The only 17th Century Tithe Barn in Shropshire, beautifully restored with air conditioning and under floor heating, you will always remember the look on your guests face as they enter this stunning building! It has charming character with two mezzanines exposed beams and a bespoke central chandelier, really giving it that “wow factor”. Fully licensed for civil marriage ceremonies, The barn will hold up to 120 guests for a sit down wedding breakfast or 140 for Evening Reception and is completely self contained for your convenience. Should your wedding be for a larger number we can attach a large marquee to the barn, enabling a sit down meal for up to 160 guests.
Our Executive Chef Stuart and his team will oversee your menu. With two AA Rosettes awarded for eighteen consecutive years, your wedding breakfast is certain to amaze and impress your guests. If you would like Stuart to discuss the food with you, he will be delighted to join you during your wedding appointment. Nothing is set in stone at The Hundred House and we will do everything possible to accommodate your wishes.
In a distinct difference to other venues the Philips family have spent the last 30 years expertly crafting the Hundred House. The lavish and opulent en suite hotel rooms include flawless attention to detail, with antique furnishings, chandeliers and stunning four poster and half tester beds. Refurbished bathrooms featuring Victoria and Albert baths and rain showers add even more decadence to your stay.
Here at the Hundred House Hotel we have a dedicated team of Gardeners all year round, creating wondrous displays of astounding colour and beauty, no matter what the season. Our award winning gardens make the perfect setting for your wedding photography and are filled with native and exotic flowers, shrubs and trees, statues, archways, sculptures and displays. As well as the Enchanted gardens we also have a luscious herb garden, filled with over 100 herbs, fruit and vegetables, used by the kitchen to create the freshest flavours for your guests to savour.
