The Tythe Barn

The Tythe Barn is a beautiful 14th century stone and thatched structure, with a classical and elegant interior, offering a stylish, private and high quality venue.

The Tythe Barn provides you with the opportunity to enjoy your Wedding Day in truly memorable surroundings. Licensed for Civil Ceremonies, the barn offers you a variety of options. The Indoor Ceremony – perhaps using candle light to create a romantic and cosy setting underneath the classic beams and thatch.

The unique Outdoor Ceremony – a beautiful alternative to traditional ceremonies making use of the wonderful landscaped gardens, and in particular, the much talked about isle formed by the wisteria clad oak pergola.

We also have an adjoining barn, fondly known as the Cowshed, which can be used for smaller functions or as an additional breakout space, lounge or cocktail bar. The Tythe Barn also incorporates a fully licensed bar.

Location – Situated in idyllic Oxfordshire countryside, less than 10 minutes from junction 9 (M40) and mainline stations with direct routes to London & Birmingham.
